These Composite Burial lighting fixtures have a special chamber (the Anti-Siphon Chamber) in them to ensure that no water is passed from the junction box to the main housing, and they have also been designed with a groove into the lid to give you a better weather tight seal. Enclosure Housing: Compression molded, fiberglass reinforced polyester composite housing. Junction compartment with epoxy anti-siphon barrier. Resistant to rust, corrosion and is unaffected by oils, gasoline, and detergents. Two 3/4" NPT conduit entrances are provided. Dark bronze finish comes standard. R-Series Bullet: Composed of die cast aluminum or copper, and containing a porcelain medium base socket these bullets are the hit of the show. Available in three sizes with a variety of shields and ballasts these bullets are made to fit any necessity that you have. Fasteners: Fasteners are corrosion resistant stainless steel. Wiring: Housing is pre-wired with high temperature wire between the ballast chamber and wiring compartment, separated by an anti-siphon barrier.
