Frank T. is a publicly commissioned artist in New York City who had created a modern sculpture that was to be displayed at an open air park for a period of no less than six months.  Having never displayed his work in the outdoors before, he was concerned about providing lighting that would be able to illuminate his work in darkness, in a manner consistent with his original vision.

Frank called us one afternoon to discuss his problem.  We were able to immediately suggest several options, not only for the fixtures, but also for the manner in which the low voltage fixtures might be powered.  He was interested in several ideas he mentioned, but wanted to learn more.  We sent him several detailed spec sheets as well as some application photos so that he might gain a better understanding of the end results these fixtures would provide.

Frank was able to make his decision fairly quickly based upon the information we provided to him, but he was on a tight deadline.  We located for him an electrical contractor in his area, and after making scheduling arrangements, we sent via overnight shipping all of the lighting fixtures, transformers and wiring necessary to complete the project.  The electrical contractor was able to install the fixtures and mount them according to our instructions the next day.

The end result was spectacular and we were very pleased to have helped bring an artists vision to life, to the benefit of so many citizens of New York City.
